• Dan Deuterman is a Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law. He is one of only a few attorneys in the Triad to have this distinction. Strict guidelines by the State Bar dictate who can apply for specialization. Attorneys are required to have practiced a minimum of five years, undergo peer review, participate in continuing legal education in the subject matter and pass a board exam. The certification is good for five years, after which, attorneys must re-apply for the specialist certification.   AV Peer Review Rated for Ethical Standards and Legal LiabilityDan Deuterman has been awarded an AV rating, the highest rating available from Martindale-Hubbell. Martindale-Hubbell is the facilitator of a peer review rating process. Ratings reflect the confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell Ratings fall into two categories – legal ability and general ethical standards.
