Ben Burnside

Ben Burnside is passionate about trial work and about representing the rights of disabled and injured workers. He focuses his practice on helping disabled workers receive the Social Security Disability benefits that they are entitled to, even if they have been denied those benefits in the past. He also helps people injured in car accidents fight the insurance companies to receive fair compensation for their injuries.
A native of Greensboro, N.C., he graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2003 with a bachelor's degree with honors in Philosophy and Religion. He earned his juris doctorate with honors in 2006 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law., and in the same year he was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar.
While a law student, Ben completed internships with The Deuterman Law Group and with U.S. Middle District Court Judge James A. Beaty, Jr. In 2008, Ben’s colleagues in the Social Security Disability Section of the N.C. Academy of Trial Lawyers elected him as co-chairman of the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee. He is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers (NCATL), the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA), the Greensboro Bar Association (GBA), and the Workplace Injury Litigation Group (WILG).
Ben's areas of practice include Social Security Disability, Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury.
He resides in Greensboro.
